Campfire of Good Feelings
Who: Shinoa and anyone interested!
What: Perhaps a therapy campfire session filled with cuddles and emotional confessions? Or it could just be you and Shinoa loafing around the park like homeless people if no one shows, yeah
Where: Mirror networks, and then the park
When: Backdated to the 20th, evening
Warnings: Possible series spoilers if discussions get deep, mentions of death, etc. Note that the thread between Garviel and Shinoa contains major spoilers for both their series(s)!
Note: Feel free to post your own open toplevels and talks to others! This thread is an open mingle log, so threadjacking is allowed in here since it's weird for people to somehow be talking to two people in a group setting have it in two separate threads where the other isn't there. If you're at a point where you don't want threadjackers, mention in your reply heading maybe. If you want to talk to Shinoa, mention explicitly that you're addressing her/ walking up to her etc.! She doesn't mind if you just hang around without initiating conversation tonight.
Mirrors||
[The mirror shows a shot of Shinoa, with the dark backdrop of a grim concrete wall. There's a light source coming from the side, along with some clutter visible at the edges of the shot, which suggests that this might be her house.]
Hey. After.... the stuff that's gone down, we probably need some R & R. I think I'll be having dinner in the park tonight, maybe have a little campfire. If you want to come along, it could be nice. Just saying the things that're on your mind can help, at least a little bit.
I think we should seriously have a group meeting later to discuss strategy, but maybe now is too soon. We'll leave that for later.
Oh, and bring your own food!
The Park
[A piece of paper is stuck to the 'welcome' signboard at the park entrance with directions to where Shinoa is. As darkness falls you can find her seated at a bench in a secluded area of the park, with an impromptu firepit crackling in front of her. (It's actually just a ring of stones she put together on the concrete clearing, sorry floor.)
She's eating instant noodles out of a mess tin, content with just taking in the sights and sounds of the park. If you approach quietly enough that she doesn't notice you, you might hear her talking quietly to herself, turning her head towards the scythe leaning against the bench beside her.
There're tears sliding slowly down her face, illuminated by the firelight. But it's mostly because the noodles she's eating looks burnt in places and smells kind of awful (How did she mess up instant noodles) rather than grief.]

You're crying. Why? [ Space marines are so good at this emotional support thing, really. ]

[She fumbles, attempts to quickly wipe her face, and gags on the noodles in her mouth. There is a moment of coughing, before she reaches for a bottle of at her feet and downs it like a man dying of thirst.
When she's done she pulls a face at her meal.]
It's n-nothing! The food's just a little.... hot!
[The food is burnt in places, that's what it is.]
no subject
Would you like some of that?
[ He looks at the noodles without judgement. In the old days he used to eat unheated ration bars. At least this was burned a little. ]

He's realized that it was probably the wrong thing to do in those places. It's sure the wrong thing to do here. He should do what he can to try and interact with others here, to get to know them. Or at least show he's willing to be amicable.
Which is why he's brought a ton of ingredients to make smores. Because if we're going to hang out in the park with a massive fire going, you gotta make smores. And you gotta make them like a pro. Which is what he's doing.
Because he is making like two-three layer stackers of those suckers. Go big or go home, losers.]
Re: OTA
[They really, really do. She might just take a marshmallow and make one herself! Maybe not as big as Pokey's but still!]

B.B. stuffed a few goodies, mainly for herself in her basket. Along with a cute checkered blanket, as if it actually were for a picnic. Before she sits down, she happens to spot her good friend! Her wonderful friend.
She can't help but just laugh at Shinoa's life choices. ]
That's your dinner, hm? [ Instant noodles. Ha. ] I hate to see how you eat when you aren't trying to impress others.
[ When she's done with that line of conversation, she heads to go sit down, unfurling the blanket a safe distance from the campfire so that she can watch it for a little bit. Bonnie hums to herself, plucking out a biscuit from her basket to quietly munch on. It's about the most peaceful she's been since she's gotten here, might be as good as time as any to talk to her. ]
Re: ota
[Yeah, Shinoa makes awful life choices. She's too busy tackling her food to snap much at Bonnie- and their last interaction HAD been..... civil- so she keeps it to that. There's no shame in being unable to feed yourself..... not really..... haha, nevermind.
She's still a minor, so she's got an excuse.]
no subject
[ Feigning surprise, she clasps her hands over her mouth, looking really sad. ]
That's even worse! To think, you can barely take care of yourself and can only boil a little bit of water... [ She glances again, at the noodles. ] Barely, at that. It's a surprise that someone like you is trying to discuss strategies at some point with the rest of us!

There's no way a relatively chipper looking young lady wouldn't be annoying at this point! ]
Gosh, sir. Did you not bring anything to eat?
no subject
I'm not really all that hungry, no.

ota
Or, uh, a secret stash of candy.
She plops herself down next to Shinoa, pulling out a candy bar and offering it to the girl. ]
This might taste better?
[ Of course, one can also find Lilith flitting in and out among the other Magi. Her giggles bubble out constantly, and as the night goes on her pillow case empties. What better way to cheer up weary minds than a bunch of candy? It always cheered her up! Displeased with the candy in her hand? She's most definitely going to find a suitable replacement for you.
After some time, Lilith begins to settle down. She sits cross legged in front of the fire, watching the flames dance and crackle. In contrast to her previously giddy self, Lilith's face is somber. A lot had happened... Rather, she had done a lot, and the weight of it all sat directly on her shoulders. Every so often, Lilith's gaze shifts towards a certain red hooded Magi. It might take a more concentrated effort to get her attention. ]
no subject
You behaved well. B.B. did in fact, get paid for her "good behavior", but the tone irritated her. Even now, she had her reason to be angry at Lilith looking in her direction. What did she even want? She's behaving. She's chewing on a biscuit. What sense would it make to try to kill her in front of all these other Magi?
Her gaze winds up fixed on the fire, biting hard into said biscuit. Despite getting paid and the invitation, and all the help she provided after fracturing her kneecap, she kept the same thought in her head. 'Leave me alone already. Buzz off.' ]

HAHA it's ok!

The somberness does not do her any favors. It's kind of jarring, really.
Pokey's not sure with the glances she keeps giving Bonnie, and really it isn't his business to know. But considering how weird the somber look she's adopted right now is, he feels compelled to at least say...something to her, especially with how hostile he'd been towards her the last few times they spoke.
He should do something to show that he isn't just an asshole.]

See who she's got to work with and find out what their deal is.
Maybe pick up some pointers for them as she climbed up the ranks? You know, that sort of stuff. That and maybe freak some people out with her really awesome robot arm. Since she couldn't Digistruct Deathtrap anymore.
... Ugh. She really missed her baby. Her prize-winning, flesh-melting, scream-inducing baby.

Speaking of meals, Asriel's brought his own. It's a small container full of fresh snails that he's found himself. He smiles at whoever's sitting next to him and holds out the container.]
